Log4j2 is an open source, Java logging framework, used in numerous Apache framework services. Vulnerability CVE-2021-44228 was recently discovered and the Layer27 engineering team is actively reviewing all systems and third-party programs used to deliver services to clients. Any required patches will be performed immediately, may cause system or appliance reboots and temporarily make client systems inaccessible. We are also actively monitoring all major software and service vendors for individual patch updates, which we will implement as soon as they are made available.
